Supreme Court Rules Against Immigration Law

The Supreme Court is handing the Trump administration a setback on immigration policy.  Conservative Justice Neil Gorsuch sided yesterday with liberals in a 5-4 vote against a federal law that requires mandatory deportation of immigrants for violent crimes.  The court found the law unconstitutionally vague.

The decision strikes down a provision of the Immigration and Nationality Act that defines a crime of violence.
