Cameron Diaz is back...in action!
The beloved actress has officially returned to Hollywood, and recently finished filming her first movie in over a decade, per People.
Diaz appeared on Friday's (January 17) episode of The Graham Norton Show with Back In Action co-star Jamie Foxx, revealing that her comeback was heavily influenced by Foxx.
"I am back all thanks to Jamie. I had 10 years of not paying attention to anything; not accepting any advances, and then I got this script and thought that maybe it was time. If I was going to leave my family for 10 hours a day I wanted to do it with the most talented man in the entertainment business."
The Holiday star continued, assuring she is equally grateful for the time she spent away from Hollywood as she is to return to the big screen.
"It is a privilege to make films, and we are all so lucky to do what we do. That the door was even open for me after a decade was amazing. I loved those 10 years for me and my family, but I thought, âIf I let this go away, if I donât engage again, and if I donât give it chance, I am a fool.' It might be the beginning of something, but it's here now and I am grateful for it."
Diaz's husband and Good Charlotte guitarist Benji Madden took to Instagram to congratulate his "QUEEN" on the release of the film, shining a spotlight on their 10-year wedding anniversary with a fun selfie and a dazzling photo of his partner.
