A popular snack product sold in select supermarkets around the country, including stores in Georgia, has been recalled over a potentially "serious" health risk.

C.H. Guenther & Son LLC recently issued a recall of its 365 Whole Foods Market Small Bites Macaroni & Cheese product due to the presence of eggs and meat ingredients that were not declared on the label, according to a recall notice shared by the U.S. Food & Drug Administration. This poses the risk of a "serious or life-threatening allergic reaction" for consumers with an allergy or severe sensitivity.

"CH Guenther & Son LLC takes allergies and food safety seriously and has implemented preventative measures to prevent any future occurrences," the company said in an announcement.

The snacks was packaged in 8.5 ounce cartons and distributed to Whole Foods Market Stores nationwide and sold in the frozen food aisle between February 6 and March 11. The affected product featured a UPC Code of 99482499709 and Best-By Date of 11/29/25. No other lots or manufacturing dates were impacted, and the issue has reportedly been corrected.

As of time of March 14, there have been no illnesses reported in connection to the affected product. Customers are encouraged to throw out the product and can bring a valid receipt to the place of purchase for a full refund.
